Women's Shoes Bangkok

Women's Shoes Bangkok

Most women coming to Bangkok will want to know "where can I buy women's shoes in Bangkok?". Bangkok has many excellent shops and shopping malls that cater to women's shoes. All department stores will have a dedicated shoe section for women where you can buy locally made shoes or imported brands such as Hush Puppies, Geoxx and Scholl.

Bangkok is a great place to buy women's shoes. Thai women love them and with the great demand for shoes comes a big supply and it's possible to wander around areas such as Siam Square and find large numbers of shoe shops selling women's shoes at very low prices. In fact, Thai women, unless very wealthy, tend to buy cheap shoes, but buy lots of them. By cheap we mean about 200 Baht for a pair. 200 Baht is about 7.50 US Dollars... YES... 7.50 Dollars for a pair of shoes !!

MBK is also a good place to find shoe shops for women in Bangkok. The ground floor must have at least 5 sizeable shops selling cheap shoes for women. MBK is a favourite shopping mall for tourists and each level has a number of shoe shops ranging in style from dress shoes to trainers and casual shoes.

Udom Agg sells leather shoes as does Findig and there are shops such as Camel selling cheap but decent quality shoes.

Not all shoe shops sell cheap shoes. Department stores and shopping malls such as Siam Paragon have very expensive brands including the infamous Jimmy Choo. You can just as easily buy a $500 pair of shoes as you can a $7.50 Dollar pair of shoes and so we've placed a table below to give you a scale of where to shop based on budget:

What Is Your Budget?

Small Budget

If you don't have a lot of money but want to grab some shoes cheaply, then we suggest heading to MBK, Platinum Fashion Mall and also Siam Square. Siam Square is opposite MBK and there are huge numbers of shoe shops so if you can't find anything in those two places, you're not likely to find them anywhere. Platinum Fashion Mall is an option if you are not near MBK, but the two aren't a million miles apart so you could do all three if you have the time.

Medium Budget

If you are on a medium budget then most of the department stores have a decent women's shoe section. We recommend looking at Central Chidlom, Siam Paragon, Central World and also The Emporium. Each of these places has decent, brand named shoes from the likes of Hush Puppies, Scholl, Geoxx, Clarks and a number of other well known brands.

Large Budget

For those lucky enough to be in Bangkok and Thailand with a large shopping budget then you will want to head off to Siam Paragon and The Emporium. Both have dedicated shoe stores by the likes of Gucci, Jimmy Choo, Prada and a number of the well known brands.

Prices will not be much lower than your own country but you will save on VAT, so expect to make only small savings on high fashion brands.
